We want Localblend to be useful without enabling abuse.
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone using the Service.
1Use the Service Lawfully
You may not use the Service to violate applicable laws, regulations, court orders or the legal rights of another person.
You are responsible for understanding the laws that apply to your business and your use of the Service.
2Do Not Manipulate Reviews or Reputation Systems
You may not use the Service to:
- create or publish fake reviews;
- purchase or sell fake reviews;
- impersonate customers or reviewers;
- misrepresent the identity or experience of a reviewer;
- automatically generate deceptive testimonials;
- coerce customers into changing legitimate reviews;
- gate reviews, by filtering which customers are asked or directed to post a public review based on their experience or rating;
- offer incentives in exchange for a review, or for changing or removing one;
- ask for reviews from people who have not genuinely used your business;
- artificially inflate or suppress ratings;
- coordinate deceptive review campaigns; or
- otherwise manipulate a review platform in breach of applicable law or that platform's rules.
The Service may help you monitor and respond to legitimate customer feedback. It is not designed to falsify customer sentiment.
3Do Not Misuse Connected Platforms
You may not connect an account, profile or business you are not authorised to manage.
You may not use the Service to circumvent technical restrictions, access controls, platform permissions or API limitations imposed by a Connected Service.
You are responsible for complying with the rules that apply to each third-party platform you connect.
4No Spam or Abusive Communications
You may not use the Service to distribute unsolicited communications in violation of applicable law.
You may not send content that is threatening, harassing, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or designed to intimidate another person.
You must respect unsubscribe requests and other applicable communication preferences.
5Protect Privacy
You may not knowingly collect, upload, disclose or process personal information through the Service where you do not have an appropriate right or lawful basis to do so.
You may not use the Service for stalking, surveillance, doxxing or other unreasonable invasions of privacy.
Do not submit highly sensitive information unless the Service is specifically designed to receive it and you are authorised to provide it.
6No Illegal or Harmful Content
You may not use the Service to create, store, transmit or distribute material that:
- is unlawful;
- facilitates fraud or deception;
- contains malware or malicious code;
- infringes intellectual-property rights;
- facilitates unauthorised access to systems or accounts; or
- meaningfully assists criminal activity.
7Do Not Attack the Service
You may not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or another user's account;
- probe or test vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- circumvent rate limits or security controls;
- deploy malware;
- intentionally overload or disrupt our systems;
- interfere with another user's use of the Service; or
- use automated systems in a manner that materially degrades the Service.
Good-faith security research must be conducted under our Security Policy.
8Automated Access
You may use approved APIs, integrations and automation features in accordance with documented limits.
You may not use bots, scripts, scraping tools or similar systems to extract data or access the Service in a way that circumvents normal functionality, contractual limits or security controls.
9Intellectual Property
Do not use the Service to copy, publish, distribute or exploit material where doing so infringes another person's intellectual-property rights.

10Enforcement
We prefer to solve problems rather than immediately terminate customers.
Where appropriate, we may contact you and ask you to stop or remedy prohibited conduct.
We may limit, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, security risks or conduct that could materially harm users, third parties or the Service.
Urgent action may be taken without advance notice where necessary to prevent immediate harm.
