Localblend vs Birdeye
Birdeye is an all-in-one AI platform for multi-location brands, covering reviews, listings, messaging, surveys and calls, sold on quote-only pricing and annual contracts. Localblend is focused review management for one location or hundreds, from a single shop to franchise groups, and for the agencies that serve them, with published prices and monthly billing. If what you need is more reviews and faster replies across your locations, Localblend does that for a fraction of the cost. If you want one vendor for much more than reviews, Birdeye is broader.

Which is right for you
- You run one location or hundreds, and the job is more reviews and faster replies across all of them.
- You want locations grouped by region, brand or franchisee, with analytics rolled up for each group.
- You want a published price and the freedom to cancel, not an annual contract.
- You're an agency that wants to run reviews for clients under your own brand, at a published price.
- You want to start today, not after an onboarding programme.
- You want enterprise governance, such as multi-step approval chains and location-based auto-reply rules, with Birdeye's onboarding and account teams.
- You want reviews, listings, social, messaging, surveys, calls and payments from one vendor on one contract.
- You rely on integrations with practice-management, dealership or field-service systems to trigger review requests.
- You need reviews from many more sites than Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor, such as Healthgrades, Zillow or OpenTable.

Pricing for five locations
Birdeye doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page is a form, and its own guide says pricing is set per location and is "typically" on annual agreements. Comparison sites run by other review tools report list prices of about $299 to $449 per location a month. Birdeye hasn't confirmed those figures.
For five locations, the reported prices would come to about $1,495 to $2,245 a month, or roughly $17,900 to $26,900 a year, before any setup or carrier texting fees. Under Birdeye's published terms, 8% is added to recurring fees at each automatic renewal.
Contract and cancelling
Birdeye's terms (effective 13 May 2026) say an agreement renews automatically for the same period unless you give written notice at least 90 days before the renewal date, that payments are non-cancellable and non-refundable, and that an 8% fee is added to recurring fees at each renewal. Check your renewal date before you plan a switch.
Localblend bills monthly or yearly with no lock-in. You can cancel from your account at any time, and every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Replying to reviews
In Localblend, each reply is drafted by AI and approved by you. One click opens the review on Google, Yelp or TripAdvisor with your reply filled in, and you press Post, so you see it exactly as customers will.
Birdeye can publish replies to Google, Facebook, Yelp and a few other sites without leaving its app, and it can reply automatically by rule or with its AI agent. If you'd rather never open the review site, or want replies to go out without anyone approving them, that's a point in its favour today. Automatic replies by an AI agent are coming to Localblend soon.
For agencies
Birdeye has a reseller programme with white-label or co-branded options, an agency dashboard and portfolio reports. Its agency pricing isn't published, and its reseller terms ask you to register each deal and not to build a similar product during the contract and for 12 months after it.
