Localblend vs GatherUp
GatherUp is a reputation platform built first for agencies and also sold to small businesses and multi-location brands. It publishes its prices: $124 a month for one location, or $99 a month billed yearly, and from $75 per location a month for two to ten. It asks for reviews by email and text, replies inside the app to Google and Facebook, and adds surveys, review widgets and text marketing. Localblend is focused review management for one location or hundreds, with Google, TripAdvisor and Yelp in one inbox, published prices at every size, and white-label for agencies. If you want texting, surveys and software integrations in one tool, GatherUp is broader. If you want reviews handled across Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor for a fraction of the cost, Localblend fits better.

Pricing for one and five locations
GatherUp publishes its prices. One location costs $124 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly. From two to ten locations it's $75 per location a month, or $60 billed yearly, and the rate per location falls at larger sizes. Every plan includes up to 300 texts and 3,000 emails per location a month. Five locations come to $375 a month, or $3,600 a year billed yearly.
Contract and cancelling
GatherUp's FAQ says it has no contracts, locks or termination fees, that accounts are billed monthly, and that you can cancel at any time. Its terms don't say whether a yearly payment is refunded if you leave early, and its Review Defense add-on has a one-year minimum.
Localblend bills monthly or yearly with no lock-in. You can cancel from your account at any time, and every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Replying to reviews
In Localblend, each reply is drafted by AI and approved by you. One click opens the review on Google, Yelp or TripAdvisor with your reply filled in, and you press Post, so you see it exactly as customers will.
GatherUp publishes replies to Google and Facebook from its app once you connect them, and it can reply automatically to positive reviews above a rating you choose. For other sites, including Yelp and TripAdvisor, you reply on the site itself. If your reviews are almost all on Google and Facebook and you want positive ones answered without approving each reply, that's a point in its favour today. Automatic replies by an AI agent are coming to Localblend soon.
For agencies
GatherUp is built for agencies. Basic white label is free from five locations and runs on a GatherUp-owned web address; premium white label, on your own domain, costs $440 a year, and its help centre lists a one-time $250 setup fee. Agency prices per location are shared after you fill in a request form.
